DSL Terms & Conditions

The agreement governing our DSL (ADSL and VDSL) internet services.

Note: This is a practical website draft. It should be reviewed by Power Vision ISP and, where necessary, by a Lebanese legal advisor before publication. Items marked [TO CONFIRM] must be verified.

1. Definitions

Key terms include: Agreement, Application Form, CPE (customer premises equipment), Fees, Customer, DSL Network, ISP (Power Vision ISP), Installation, License, OGERO, Policies, Price List, Service and Term.

2. General terms

The Agreement commences on the Commencement Date and continues through the Term. By signing the Application Form the Customer consents to these terms. Either party may terminate with written notice of not less than 30 days; the ISP may terminate immediately upon loss of its License, or for Customer breach including failure to settle any Fees due.

3. Services, CPE & installation

Applications are subject to the ISP's approval at its discretion. The Customer warrants that all information provided is true and accurate. Risk in supplied CPE transfers to the Customer on delivery and installation. Lost, stolen or damaged CPE must be reported immediately; the Customer remains liable until notification. The Service must be used only for lawful purposes, and the Customer indemnifies the ISP against claims arising from misuse.

4. Fair use

"Unlimited" means active personal use within the same household. The ISP may monitor usage capacity (not content). Usage that substantially exceeds normal levels may result in speed reduction for the remainder of the period. See our Fair Usage Policy.

5. Fees

Fees are payable as described in the Price List, whether or not the Service is used. Telephone line fees are paid separately to OGERO. The ISP may request a security deposit in defined circumstances. Invoices are payable within the stated term.

6. Interruption, suspension & termination

Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The ISP does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, as performance can be affected by atmospheric, geographic or network conditions. Access may be suspended for maintenance, or for non-payment or breach of these terms or our Policies.

7. CPE warranty

Warranty excludes damage from misuse, moisture, unauthorized modification, improper installation, electrical surges, theft and external causes such as floods, fires or other Acts of God.

8. Applicable law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon; disputes are settled by the competent Lebanese courts [TO CONFIRM].
