Fair Usage Policy

How unlimited plans work — and how we keep the network fast for everyone.

Note: This is a practical website draft. It should be reviewed by Power Vision ISP and, where necessary, by a Lebanese legal advisor before publication. Items marked [TO CONFIRM] must be verified.

What "unlimited" means

Unlimited plans are designed for active personal use within the same household or account during the advertised period. Bandwidth should not be shared with others outside the household, nor used for continuous heavy download activity or the distribution of copyrighted material.

Why we have this policy

Broadband pricing relies on sharing resources — the local, national and international network capacity — among all subscribers. While the vast majority of customers use the service normally, a very small number of users may consume far more than the residential norm, which can degrade performance for everyone.

How it works

We monitor bandwidth usage and calculate the average consumption for each account type. If a user substantially exceeds the normal average by a defined multiplier, daily or monthly speed restrictions may apply. If excessive usage persists, Power Vision ISP reserves the right to modify or suspend the service.

Scope

This policy applies to all Power Vision ISP services — DSL, Fiber Optic, Wireless Broadband and future offerings. In practice it affects only a very small number of subscribers.
